Screening and Discussion: People's Emergency Briefing
The Arup Auditorium, 80 Charlotte Street, London, W1T 4QS
The Engineering Club hosts a screening of the People's Emergency Briefing, followed by discussion and call for action.
Join The Engineering Club for this special screening of The People’s Emergency Briefing, hosted by Arup in their auditorium in 80, Charlotte Street.
In November 2025, the National Emergency Briefing brought together leading experts to present the latest evidence on the climate and nature crisis to politicians and other influential people in Westminster. That evidence is now on the public record.
The People’s Emergency Briefing brings together people in local communities across the UK to hear the evidence and discuss how to respond. Businesses, institutions and local councils are also hosting screenings to help take the briefing to wider audiences across the nation.
Each screening is intended to be followed by a structured discussion to allow people to process what they have heard and find ways to engage positively around solutions in their local community. We provide comprehensive guidance in our facilitation guide including how to ensure that conversations remain comprehensive.
By enabling communities and decision-makers to engage with the same evidence together, the screening programme aims to create informed dialogue at local and national level.
